Fireworks, while not strictly traditional, also were a feature at local Lunar New Year festivals.
These earrings are for those who prefer something a little less traditional, but are still in the mood for celebration!
I have a favourite type of fireworks - the ones that fly up into the dark sky that you can't see, but then pop open with lots of glittery lights and the smatter of sounds as the fireworks open in the sky. Ah, so many happy memories!!
These firework earrings feature a subtle clear backing, with hand painted silver paint. Teeny tiny little stars have been cut out of glitter acrylic, which symbolise the little fireworks opening in the sky.
The fireworks measure 5cm in height and 3.2cm in width. The earrings are finished with hypoallergenic steel studs and butterfly backs.
Representation is incredibly important at Ana ma Petit Tresor. This collection for Lunar New Year has been carefully designed with heartfelt thought. I designed this to honour my cultural heritage and share my heritage with pride and love. I truly hope you enjoy these pieces with this in mind. Diversity is strength in our community.
