Why Sweets do you ask? Lots of reasons!! There are only so many sweets you can eat at one time before you get a crazy sugar rush, but there is no limit to the amount of pretty sweet themed jewellery pieces! Better yet, the bright colours and designs are designed to give you a rush of dopamine, to promote happiness!!
This pair of earrings deserves capital letters (yes it was deliberate). Why? BECAUSE CAKE!! Ok well really it's because I absolutely adore individual serves of cake. I often by these from French patisseries, my favourite being strawberry shortcakes. Or lemon curd almond meal cakes. Or a more recent cake, watermelon and pomegranate vanilla cake!!! All the noms! We often buy little individual cakes for small celebrations - a job well done, an achievement at school, project finished, promotion at work, or sometimes, just because.
These earrings feature various acrylic pieces which fit together like a puzzle, with each lolly circle cut and secured. Each piece has been drawn by hand and converted into pieces of wearable art.
The earring measures approximately 4cm in height. It is finished with hypoallergenic stainless steel hoops.
Please note that while no pets are permitted in the sewing studio, there is a pet present in the house.
These earrings are MADE TO ORDER and will take up to two weeks to be made.
